This time of year is always special when we slow down and spend an hour in warm conversation with a friend. I enjoyed my time getting to know Melinda more deeply as our relationship develops. We didn't let the rare California rain stop our plans. We were the only two on the Starbucks patio under an umbrella during a down pour. Made it all the more memorable.
