September 11, 1944 - July 12, 2013

Timothy N Howard passed away July 12, 2013 at the age of 68 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born September 11, 1944 in Long Beach, California to Homer and Helen Howard of Garden Grove, California.

Tim graduated from Rancho Alamitos High School in 1962 and entered the Air Force in January 1964. Tim achieved the rank of Master Sergeant during his 21-year career in Life Support Systems. After his retirement from the Air Force, Tim moved to Lompoc, CA and earned an undergraduate academic associate degree while working at Jim Vreeland Ford, where he won many top honors. In addition to family and the Air Force, education was one of Tim's greatest passions, and he was honored to serve on the Board of Education for Lompoc School District for many years.

Ten years ago Tim reconnected with his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Alice Carey. Tim and Alice retired three years ago to Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Tim is survived by the two greatest loves of his life, daughter Rebecca Jones of Cheyenne, WY, and Alice Carey. He is also survived by brothers; Michael Howard of Santa Rosa, CA and Thomas Howard of Littleton, CO; sister, Kristi Cox of Fountain Valley, CA; four grandchildren, Travis, Heather, Dakota, and Trynatie Jones, and his first wife, Sharon Howard of Cheyenne, WY.
