Duane Whitehead

Duane Whitehead - 1962

After high school I joined the Army in April of 1963. I was stationed in Fort Lewis, Washington until 1965 when I was sent to Viet Nam. After I got my discharge I went to work for North American Rockwell, in Anaheim and bought a house in North Hills. I met my wife (Kathy) while I was stationed in Washington and married her when I was discharged from the service. We have three children: two girls (Kassie and Kandi) and a son (Duane H.).

After I was laid off from NAR, I went to work for the SP Police and also was a reserve on Anaheim PD. When I retired from SP Police, we moved to Klamath Falls, Or. and I joined the Klamath Falls Police Department and retired from there in August of 2007.

I work on old cars in my spare time and have a 1965 GTO and a 1929 Model A pick up. I go hunting with my daughters during deer season.
