Upon graduating from Rancho Alamitos, I went to work at Farmers & Merchants Bank in Garden Grove. I met David Rardin that summer and we dated for two years. We were married in the summer of 1964. We moved to College Station, Texas for his Masters Degree. I worked at a bank near by the campus. In 1966 we moved to Las Vegas, NV. I went to work at Nevada National Bank until our daughter was born. I then did volunteer work at a young girl's shelter for run-a-way girls. In 1972 we moved to IL. There I had the best job of being a stay at home Mother. I did fill in at a pre-school our son was attending. In 1980 we moved to Golden, Co. With the children in school I went to work part time at a Private pre-school, Palo Alto Pre-School. In 1984 I went to work at our son's elementary school as a teacher's aide and then went on to work in the Special-Education class as a teacher's aide.

In 1986 we moved to Pleasanton Ca. I worked as a pre-school teacher at The Gingerbread House and then went back into the public school system as a special education aide. 1990 we moved to Discovery Bay, a small community that is located on the Delta Bay. I started and directed a Pre-School at an Athletic Club here in town. I left there to start LRL Energy Services, Inc. in 1994. In the past I have served as a volunteer in several non-profit community organizations. Currently I support and volunteer for the art program at a private school and I'm also serving my 4th year as treasurer for the East Contra Costa Republican Women Federated.

All the children and grandchildren live close by so I am fortunate to see them and to be a part of their every day activities and lives. They also manage a trip with us here and there and to our homes in Colorado and Mexico. Didn't realize at the age of 18 years that life could just whiz by so fast. But it has been a terrific ride.
